The Mustangs took the 16-8 lead to the break.

The Mustangs received the ball in the second half and were driving down the field looking to score, when a fumble in the back field lost them about five yards, so they were facing third and fifteen.  The Mustangs handed the ball of to the running back, who was making his way to a first down when he was tackled, unfortunately the ball came out and the Gators recovered on the ten yard line. The Gators put together a drive and on third down and five, their running back took the hand off, broke some tackles and ran it forty yards for a touchdown.  The PAT kick was short and the Mustangs retained a slim lead 16-14 with 3:24 left in the game. The Mustangs put together a drive toward that got them a first down, that allowed them to run out the clock and preserve the win.  Mustangs 16-Gators 14.  The Mustang played strong and determined.  Way to go Mustangs!!
