The Staley Mustangs 7th Grade Football White Team dominated the Scoggins Seahawks tonight.  The Mustangs first score came when #25 took the hand off, broke some tackles and took the ball 40 yards for the touchdown.  The Mustangs #49 ran the ball in to the end zone for the PAT.  The Mustangs had the early lead 7-0 and never looked back.   The Mustangs set up the next score with a pass to #88 down to the three yard line.  The Mustangs scored two plays later, and the PAT attempt was stopped short of the goal line.  The Mustangs took a 13-0 lead with 45 seconds left in the half.  

The second half was all Mustangs.  The Mustangs started off the second half with a touch down by #22, but it was called back due to a penalty.  Unfortunately, the Mustangs fumbled the ball on the very next play and the Seahawks recovered.  However, not to worry the Seahawks were just as giving, as they returned the favor a few plays later, giving the ball back to the Mustangs on a fumble.  The Mustangs scored again on a pass play when quarterback #10 threw a bullet  to the end zone that was caught by #7 for the score.  The PAT was run in to the end zone to give the Mustangs 20 points. The Mustang defense stuffed the Seahawks all night, not allowing the Seahawks into the end zone.  The Mustang played a fantastic game and took home the victory 20-0.  Congratulations, Mustangs!! Way to go!
