Frisco High School Football-Playoffs Frisco vs. Dallas Lincoln

November 23, 2013  •  2 Comments

Last night was an exciting night.  Frisco High School Raccoons Varsity Football Team traveled to AT&T Stadium to play the late night, round two playoff game against Dallas Lincoln.  Let me first say, I was honored to be asked by the Frisco Stars Dance Team booster club to photograph the talented Stars at the game.  I was ready to head up to the stands, as I do not normally photograph  Frisco Football.  Unfortunately, an injury to Frisco's running back Max Steitle, had Frisco's regular photographer, the very talented Mr. Steitle understandingly leaving to be with his son.  I stayed on the field to just capture the images that I could.  It was a thrilling game with an awesome outcome: a Frisco victory.   The Frisco Raccoons are headed to round three of the playoffs against Ennis next Friday night.  Congratulations Raccoons!!!

My thoughts are with the Steitle family, and I wish Max a speedy recovery.

Here are some of the images of the night.

Frisco begins its playoff journey this season with a match-up against the Dallas Lincoln Tigers. While Lincoln is 5-5 on the season, they have had a tough schedule and are entering the playoffs as the number four seed out of district 7-4A Div II. Lincoln has one of the toughest defenses in Dallas, allowing only 15 ppg on average. The defense is led by linebackers Kaleb Oliver and Frederick Thomas who are both quick sideline to sideline players. Frisco's top rusher, Jaiden Woodbey will have to be on his toes and use his blockers to keep him from being put in a position where he can be taken down by one of those speedy linebackers.
