The Frisco High School Track ran today at the Frisco ISD Invitational.  There were 28 different schools throughout the metroplex represented, and some stiff competition.  The Frisco girls all ran well, braving the chilly morning temperatures and very breezy conditions.  As the day wore on, the temperatures increased and it became quite a pleasant, albeit windy, day.   The athletes went out, ran hard and provided the fans with some great races. Great finishes for Frisco today in the girls JV two mile, girls JV and varsity 300 hurdles, the girls JV mile, girls JV 4x400 relay, Varsity girls 800,  and Varsity girls 400.    So proud of all the athletes who go out, try their best, and give it their all, regardless of their time, or place!!  Great job today Frisco!!

One additional note, thanks to all the sweet girls who offered words of congratulations, praise and encouragement to Katie after a particularly rough finish to her mile race.  Your kind words are greatly appreciated, I love what great friends you all are to each other.   We all saw what a great race she ran, and where she finished.  I am always proud of her, no matter where she finishes.  Great mile race today Katie!!
