Most of you who know me, know that photographing Staley Middle School sporting events are among my favorite things to photograph. The thing I love about track, is that I get to see a lot of the athletes. Like with other sports, I follow the action, but each one of our Staley Mustangs is in action at some time during the night showcasing their talents. I love how track has a little something for everyone, jumping, throwing, sprints, and distances. I love watching the athletes set goals, try their best, and push themselves to the limit while striving to reach their goal. Their achievements come from making the most of their abilities, being determine, resilient and courageous. I love how track is full of kids giving it all they have, no matter what place they are in, each one of them having individual success while being part of the team. These kids come out every week for a multitude of reasons, be it school pride, the love of competition, or the satisfaction of self improvement, trying for a personal best. And to each one of them and their families in the stands, their race or event is important, so I try my best to make sure I capture all the athletes. Congratulations to all the athletes, who go out and compete, try their best, and reach personal goals. I am so proud of all you.
Here are some images of the night.
