Another windy day out on the track for the Frisco High School athletes.  The Frisco High School Lady Raccoons had a great day today, in spite of the windy conditions.   Frisco brought home the District Champion and Runner up title in the Varsity Girls 800m run.  Great job, Kamryn and Sarah!!  Frisco High's Nia R. brought home the bronze medal for the 100m JV Girls hurdles.  A great Run by Jocelyn in the 400m made her the JV Girls District Champion.  A third place finish by Kamryn in the 400m, gave her the bronze medal.   Lauren D. will move on to Area Finals with a fourth place finish in the 300m hurdles. Great run by Katie in the 1600m JV Girls race to place fourth!! A fantastic run by Sarah in the Varsity girls 1600m run, made her the District Champion!! A great team effort by the Girls JV 4x400 relay team, gave them the bronze medal!  Way to go, girls!  Frisco High's Varsity 4x400 team rocked it tonight in their race.  Each member of the team had an awesome performance to get the District Runner up title, and earn them the silver medal!!  All the athletes did great tonight, going out and giving it all they had!! Congratulations, way to go, girls!! And to those who are moving on to Area Finals for both running and field events, Good Luck!!

Just a quick note, I love being out there, not only photographing these girls, but getting to know them, wishing them luck, and cheering them on.  I love watching the interactions between the team mates and capturing some of the candid moments.  I enjoy seeing them have success, and it warms my heart to see them support each other.  I have enjoyed the last two years with these girls and will miss the Seniors as they move on to the next phase of their lives. Thanks for all the memories!!
