Not to be outdone, the Freshman A Team Volleyball put on an exciting show for the Raccoon Nation who traveled to Wakeland to cheer on these young ladies.  In the first game, great serving and hitting by #12, setting by # 2 and digs by #8, #10, and more hits by #22, #5 and #11 had Frisco in the lead, 19-16.  Wakeland would not go down without a fight on their home court.  With Frisco winning 22-20 and looking for the win, Wakeland scored two points to to even it up and even took the lead 24-23.  The Lady Raccoons stayed strong and prevailed 26-24. The second set proved to be even more exciting.  The Freshman team look good, #5 and #22 served strong, good hits by #3, #14 and #12 had Frisco matching Wakeland on every point.  The game was tied at 8-8.  The game stayed close, but then Wakeland pulled ahead 17-14, they wanted a third set.  Good serving by #22, a hit by #2 and a soft touch over the net by #3 had Frisco back in the game.  Number 14 had two great plays in a row to get Frisco tied with Wakeland at 18.  Frisco had the momentum and had fantastic play from everyone to take the lead 24-20.  The Frisco fans were excited looking for the win.  Wakeland fought back to tie it at 24 all.   These two teams battled it out, but Wakeland forced a third game with a 26-24 victory.  The third game had these two teams fighting it out for the win.  Great team play by Frisco, and strong contributions from all the members had the Lady Raccoons celebrating the victory.   Way to fight Lady Raccoons!!!
