The Lady Raccoons Varsity Soccer earned a 3-1 win against Prosper in the first round of the playoffs tonight.  The Lady Raccoons and the Lady Eagles had a close battle in the first half.  With ten minutes left in the half, the Lady Raccoons forward Maddie, took a pass from Kailee, and booted one past the keeper and into the back of the net.  Frisco took a 1-0 lead going into half time.

The Lady Raccoons came out on the field in the second half with a lot of energy and enthusiasm.  The Raccoons kept pressing and had several shots on goal.  Maddie added another goal with 23 minutes left in the game to give Frisco the 2-0 lead.  Prosper would not go down without a fight.  They applied pressure and move the ball down toward their goal.  Prosper scored with 18 minutes left, off a header from a corner kick, to close the gap  2-1.

The Lady Raccoons picked up the pace and responded less than ten minutes later with a goal that put them up 3-1.  Kailee headed the ball in, off  a corner kick.  Frisco played smart the last ten minutes to bring home the victory.

The Lady Raccoons were determined and focused and it showed.  Congratulations ladies on your well deserved victory!!!
