I had the pleasure of going out to watch and photograph the Staley Lady Mustangs last night.

The Staley 7th Grade Girls Soccer Team fell 5-0 to a strong Cobb Team last night.  The Lady Cyclones scored in the first seven minutes, but the Lady Mustangs kept them out of the net again for most of the remaining first half.   Cobb scored with fifteen seconds left in the half to take a 2-0 lead into the break.  Cobb came out aggressive in the second half adding two more goals very quickly.  The Lady Mustangs buckled down and played tough, with some great defense and also some fantastic saves by the goal keeper.  Staley took several shots on goal, but were not successful in getting one by the keeper.  Cobb added one last goal with ten minutes left in the game to go up 5-0.  Despite the lose, the girls put forth a great effort and stayed focused the entire game.  Great job, Lady Mustangs!! Good luck next week.

Here are some great images from the game.
