The Staley 8th Grade Girls Soccer Team played strong and took down the Roach Rams 5-0 last night.   Staley controlled the game from the start.  The first score came as Staley's forward took a pass right in front of the goal and kicked it right in,  less than five minutes into the game.  The second score came with a little over three minutes to play in the half.  Staley's forward, brought the ball down the field and just drove it past the goalie.  Staley took a 2-0 lead to the half.  Staley came out aggressive in the second half, the game blew wide open two minutes in,  when another Mustang forward took a pass from 30 yards out and dribble down the sideline, and kicked one that had just enough velocity to scoot past the goalie.  Staley continued to keep possession of the ball and made the  Roach defense work really hard.  Goal number four came when the Mustang's mid fielder shot one quickly past the keeper.  The Mustangs offense over powered the Roach Rams through out the game.  The final goal came as two Mustangs took the ball and sneaked one past the keeper.  With seven minutes left, the Staley offense kept up the pressure.  The Mustangs play outstanding offense and strong defense shutting down any the Roach attacks through out the game.   The Mustangs great teamwork led to a dominating win.  Congratulations on a great victory!!
