On yet another night of cold temperatures and biting wind, the Lady Raccoons JV Soccer team opened up the second round of district play with a convincing 4-0 victory over the Heritage Lady Coyotes.  The Lady Raccoons' first goal when Lauren sailed a penalty kick right past the keeper into the back of the net with just under fifteen minutes left to play in the first half.  That first score had the Lady Raccoons playing with more confidence and really controlling the game afterwards.  The Lady Raccoons scored again, when  Taylor centered the ball to Aubrey right in front of the goal and Aubrey tapped the ball, and it went right through the goalies hands.  The Lady Raccoons took the 2-0 lead to the break.

The Lady Raccoons played aggressively in the second half, keeping the ball on their side of the field 90% of the time, keeping the Lady Coyotes' defense and goalie on their toes.  Frisco's Lady Raccoons scored again when Audrey passed the ball out to a group of Lady Raccoons and it was kicked in for the score.  The Lady Raccoons dominated the game and the final goal came from Taylor when she redirected Brittney's corner kick into the goal.  The Lady Raccoon's goalies only had to make four saves all night.  A great game by the Lady Raccoons!!

A shout out the the Lady Raccoon's Varsity team who rolled past the Heritage Lady Coyotes 8-0.  Way to go, Frisco!!
