The Staley Mustangs Track team braved the frigid temperatures and biting wind to participate in a quad meet at Wakeland High School last night.   The Staley athletes worked hard, stayed focused, and ran strong among the competition.  The Staley Mustangs had several finishers in the top three.  In field events, Staley placed in the top three in Girls discus, boys shot put, and girls and boys triple jump.  In the running events, Staley had top four finishers in the 7th grade girls 2400m run, boys 8th grade 4x100 relay, boys and girls 800m run,  girls 100 and 300 hurdles,  boys 4x200 relay teams, boys 300 hurdles, boys 7th grade 400m run, and boys and girls 1600m run.  These young athletes pushed themselves, gave it all they had, and cheered each other on.  All the Staley Mustangs were amazing and turned out great performances.  Great job Mustangs, keep up the good work!!  Congratulations, Mustangs!!

Shout out to all the parents who came out in the freezing cold temperatures to cheer on our Staley Mustangs!! Way to be strong!

On a side note, I want to issue a blanket apology, I do not always know (hear) the final results, especially ones with heats, and I do not know all the kids name and grades, so any oversights are completely unintentional.  I will be trying to get different field events in the next couple of meets, so if you have any requests, please let  me know, and I will be happy to try to accommodate!  As always, I love being out there photographing and cheering on these young athletes, thanks for your  support!!
